British illustration.- Jones (Barbara) Two original drawings for 'Twit and Howlet and the Balloon', the first inscribed 'The Balloon picture, p. 13', and the other showing Twit and Howlet on the road to 'Boulogne', pen and ink, black chalks, some with correction fluid, both with stamped signatures, 140 x 210 mm (5 1/2 x 8 1/4 in), and 110 x 200 mm (4 1/4 x 7 7/8 in), respectively, minor surface dirt and handling creases, [circa 1970]; together with two others by Jones, the first an illustration for the 'The Battle of the Beaches' advertisement for the I.C.I's "remarkable 'Gammexane' insecticide', and the other of a London church ruin looking towards St. Paul's Cathedral, pen and inks, 170 x 160 mm (6 3/4 x 6 1/4 in), and 280 x 380 mm (11 x 15 in), respectively, handling creases and minor surface dirt, [late 20th century] (4) .
