Bronze Age Horse Bit and Harness Mount Group

2nd millennium BC. A mixed bronze group comprising: a snaffle bit with dentilled slots; two cheek pieces each with three loops and scooped finial; two discoid harness mounts;a hook with T-bar mounting; a V-shaped slider mount; four domed quatrefoil mounts with loop to the underside. 416 grams total, 2.4-21cm (1 - 8 1/4"). From a private collection; previously in an old central Asian collection; acquired in the late 1940s. [11, No Reserve]
