Bronze Age Votive Cloak Pin

2nd millennium BC. A large bronze dress pin with biconical finial, the upper face of the finial with radiating leaf decoration, below two ribbed bands flanking a band of hatched lines; coiled for votive use. 128 grams, 16.9cm (6 3/4"). Property of a North London gentleman; formerly in a West German collection, Cologne.
