Bronze Troika Horse Sculpture after Vasily Grachev

Antique signed bronze figurine statue, after Vasily Yakovlevich Grachev (Russian, 1831-1905). A figural group depicting a traditional Russian troika harness driving combination, with three horses pulling a sleigh. Incised signature in Cyrillic style letters to front of pillar column form. Presented on a marble base with a name plate that misattributes the work to Ernest Charles Demosthenes Guilbert (French, 1815-1865). Rich patina.
