God of the Sun (whose chariot he pulls) , of all the arts, of music, of prophecy, of poetry, of the medical arts (the god of medicine is in fact his son Asclepius) , of plagues and of the science that illuminates the intellect ,

It is a bronze statue produced with the lost wax technique. it was made from a cast of the original made at the beginning of the twentieth century by a historic foundry in Naples, the Chiurazzi foundry. This foundry produced not only large monuments but also reproductions of statues from the main museums, and fed the "souvenir" market for travelers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the travelers of the Grand Tour.
