Bruichladdich 1991 14 years old WMD II Yellow Submarine - Original bottling - 70cl

14 years old oak-matured Bruichladdich islay malt was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2005 under The yellow submarine label after fishing in Rioja wine cask. This release pays homage to an MOD tagged yellow submarine that was found just a few miles from distillery , off the coast of Islay, by a local fisherman. Now, the coastguarder knew nothing about it and the MOD were reluctant to take rensponsability for it. Funny, how, just days later the submarine had misteriosly vanished. It appears there could be some interesting secrets at Bruichladdich, it was a only a few years prior that US spies were snooping the distillery. The yellow submarine is the second release in the series WMD (whisky of Mass Destruction) , and is now higly collectible in many circles.
