Bryant Chapin (1859-1927, MA) still life with

apples, titled "Quartet", oil painting on artist's board, depicting 4 apples. Late 19th-early 20th c. Unsigned, artist is identified on plaque. Chapin was a student of Robert Spear Dunning of the Fall River School. Sight size 7 1/2" x 12", overall 14" x 19". In a modern silver gilt frame. Minor inpainting in lower left corner. Otherwise good condition. Provenance: Roger King Fine Art, Newport, RI.
