The $3.00 note with spread winged eagle at the upper left on the top of a globe, a young girl "salutes" at the lower right. The $20.00 note with a two stack steamboat at the upper left, a sailor in an oval at the lower right. The $50.00 note with Type III Santa Claus Vignette by George Baldwin at the center; dogs at lower left and Indian in an oval at the lower right. The $100.00 note with Indian family paddling a canoe at the upper right, at the lower left is a frontiersman seated with his rifle. Haxby ME-235-G8-G14-G16-G18; all unlisted without protectors. Durand Page 63. This bank's notes were virtually unknown prior to the 1990 American Bank Note Company Archives sale by Christie's. Fortunately these Santa Claus sheets and some single notes from this bank surfaced from the archives and were offered for sale. None of the sheets from this type have the red protectors. Each note stamped on the back of the card by the American Bank Note Company. A blazing white India paper on card sheet. The Santa Claus is exceptionally vivid and as nice as one could hope for. Superb and desirable.
