Bueche Girod was founded in 1947 as a maker of luxury watches. The company made some exquisite models throughout the 1970s. They were one of the companies that produced the Cartier Tank in that decade. The present example has a wide oval case and a beautiful woven integrated bracelet. Bueche Girod was known as a style trendsetter from the period. Their watches were popular with Las Vegas entertainers and Robert DeNiro proudly wore the brand in the movie "Casino."
Condition Report: Dial is in very good condition. It is an older reprint. Case is very good, with minor scratches. Case has been customized with aftermarket diamond pave. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in very good condition.
