unter nur leicht bewölktem Himmel hat sich in waldiger Landschaft am Ufer eines Sees eine Gruppe zum Teil in Togen gekleideter Personen eingefunden, eine davon scheint gestenreich Worte an die anderen zu richten, mit zum Teil sehr spitzem Pinsel ausgeführte feine Landschaftsmalerei, Öl auf Leinwand, wohl Mitte 19. Jh., rückseitig auf dem Keilrahmen schwer leserlich bezeichnet, kleine Retuschen und Firnis gegilbt, ansprechende Zierleiste der Zeit, Falzmaße ca. 25 x 38,5 cm.

Under an only slightly cloudy sky, a group of people, some of them dressed in togas, have gathered in a wooded landscape on the shore of a lake, one of them seems to be gesticulating words to the others, fine landscape painting executed in part with a very pointed brush, oil on canvas, probably mid-19th century, inscribed on the stretcher on the reverse, small retouches and varnish yellowed, attractive decorative moulding of the period, folded dimensions approx. 25 x 38.5 cm.
