Designed as a serpent with pear-shaped rubellite eyes, set with cabochon and carved turquoise and mother-of-pearl, decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, the mouth opening to reveal a pavé-set diamond dial, mounted in 18 karat pink gold, inner circumference approximately 170mm, signed Bulgari and numbered, Italian and Swiss assay and maker's marks, case stamped Bulgari, one turquoise and one mother-of-pearl panel deficient.

One turquoise and one mother-of-pearl panel deficient. Signed Bvlgari, numbered SP P 40 G. Italian and Swiss assay and maker's marks for 18 karat pink gold, FABRIQUE EN SUISSE. The quartz movement in running condition at the time of cataloguing. Turquoise is light slightly greenish blue, even and well matched colour, with good polish. Overall in good condition. Mother-of-pearl is white, with very good iridescence, overall in good condition. Rubellite are of deep slightly purplish red colour, of strong translucency, very good condition. Diamonds are bright and lively. Metal shows signs of minor wear. Overall in good condition. Please note we do not guarantee watch movements. The mechanical movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. However the watch has not been tested to determine the accuracy of its timekeeping. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and that a service may be required at the buyer's discretion.
