A vintage mixed media work on paper painting by New York artist Burt Hasen. From an article in the New York Sun 2007, ‘(Hasen) was a Paris trained artist whose widely seen work was tinged with cubism, surrealism and abstract expressionism... A long time teacher at the School of Visual Arts, Hansen’s canvases and prints hang in the Smithsonian Institution, the Library of Congress and the National Academy of Design.’ This work has a label from Dennis Florio. It is framed. The overall measurements are approximately 28.5 inches wide by approximately 43.5 inches tall and approximately 1.5 inches deep.
