Bust, Oriental characters in the manner of Friedrich Goldscheider - 50 cm (2) - Earthenware - ca. 1900
Important pair of painted terracotta busts representing oriental characters (in the manner of Friedrich Goldscheider) produced around 1900, as seen in the photo, a signature that I cannot decipher (perhaps Sturm) , the conditions are almost perfect, only one has a small lack near an ear. I want to emphasize that the busts are in terracotta (even if they are light in color) and not in plaster, the weight of each shows it as they were in plaster they would be much lighter also the processing as they say in stick and the definition of the details make it clear that they are made of terracotta, such a perfection is not achieved with plaster. Shipping costs are a bit high but I would make an insured shipment with very important packaging
