A small bust of a Roman emperor, bare-headed and bearded, his mantle draped over his harness and tied in a knot on his right shoulder. The bust is made of bronze , which is cast in two halves that are kept together by the original wrought iron rivet at the back of the head. The Southern Netherlands. Late Renaissance. Early 17th century. Dimensions: H (of the bust) 7,5cm ; H (with stand) 14,5cm ; W (arms) 6,8cm Presented on a modern custom-made metal stand.
