This pair of Meiji era (1868-1912) two-panel screens captivates with its exquisite portrayal of scenes reminiscent of the Heian period (794-1185) , showcasing the imperial court and elegantly designed fan motifs. The panels are signed, indicating the artist's pride in their craftsmanship.
