A gold ring with flat-section hoop comprised of two ropework bands between plain borders; cluster of six granulated beads arranged into triangles at each shoulder; rectangular 'cushion' shaped bezel with a ropework border and granulated bead at each of four corners, holding a dark blue cut stone. 3.11 grams, 21.21mm overall, 16.54mm internal diameter (approximate size British K, USA 5 1/4, Europe 9.95, Japan 9) (3/4"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired on the London art market in the 2000s.
