Byzantine Reliquary Cross Pendant Plate

10th-12th century AD. A bronze reliquary cross panel with incised image of a Mary Theotokos facing nimbate in orans pose, cross-potent motif to each breast, nimbate infant Jesus on her lap with ring-and-dot detailing to the robe; secondary piercing for re-use as a simple pendant.
