Dates to 1956, first full year of production. Typical flat top frame with no ears, 3-screw, blued finish, blade on base front sight, adjustable rear sight and Ruger medallion walnut grips. CONDITION: Fine. Gun retains about 85% of its blued finish showing high edge cylinder wear, muzzle wear and scattered handling marks, mostly on barrel. The ejector housing shows no finish and may have been replaced. Grips are fine showing scattered impressions. Mechanically sound with a strong bore. Some white paint has been added to front sight.
