Gough for factory engraving, and was subsequently returned and shipped to Murta Appleton Company on January 10th, 1919. Stocks were unlisted, which typically indicates the factory standard of hard rubber, and three total guns were in the shipment. Engraved in Gough's trademark ropey florals on a striated background. Unusual engraved star on the back of the frame above the grip safety. Typical blued and case color configuration, fit with mother of pearl grips with deep-set Colt medallions, forward facing.
