C. Myron Clark lived and worked for most of his life in Massachusetts. He was primarily a seascape painter, working in oil and watercolor, and perhaps best known for his paintings of sailing ships. In 1906, he was commissioned by the State of Massachusetts to paint the frigate The U.S.S. Constitution, a painting that hung in the Massachusetts State House until the 1940s (its current whereabouts are unknown). His work is in the collection of the Peabody Museum in Salem, Massachusetts. 16 x 12.25 inches.
