Manufactured circa September 1942 and finished in full parkerized finish. Springfield barrel dated "8-43". Standard protected blade front sight and later "IHC / DRC" marked rear aperture sight. Uncut oprod. Springfield trigger pack with milled guard. Standard walnut stock with circle "P" firing proof and tool trap butt containing tool and cleaning kit. Also accompanied by a green woven sling. CONDITION: Very good overall. Rifle retains the vast majority of its arsenal reapplied parkerized finish with some wear at the muzzle. Stocks appear lightly sanded and reoiled with a small split present on the top wood. Frosted bore with some darkness. ME is beyond gauge graduations. TE reads just under 9. Fine mechanics.
