Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1941. Blued 23" round Winchester Proof Steel barrel fitted with standard sights and marked with "Winchester Address", "Model 62 A" and "22 S. L. or L.R." caliber marking. Full blued tubular magazine with blued barrel bands. Blued takedown action with unmarked top tang, lower tang has matching serial number. Exceptionally grained walnut standard stock with standard Winchester black hard rubber buttplate. Matching walnut corrugated factory forearm. CONDITION: 95% original action finish with light handling marks and edge and operation wear. Blue starting to wear to silver harder at carry points and near edges with wood having some light handling marks and traces of original finish remaining.
