(C+A) LOT OF 3: COLT POLICE POSITIVE TARGET, 1895 COLT

Lot consists of: (A) Police Positive Target Revolver. Manufactured four digit first year 1910 production. Features blued finish, six shot, fluted cylinder, double action, high front target sight, adjustable rear sight, and black composite Colt logo grips. CONDITION: 10% blue in hidden areas but basically all grey patina with scattered freckling. Sharp rifled bore. Grips excellent. Works fine both double and single action. (B) Colt Model 1895 U.S.Navy Marked double action revolver. Manufactured 1898. These were ordered by the U.S.Navy. This example was inspected by W.B. Whittelsey who only inspected a few guns for the Navy in the 95000 range in 1898 while America was at war with Spain. Butt is marked "U.S.N. (trident) / 38 DA / 9530" and "WBW" with serial number (Whittelsey). Has the Navy Model Colt black rubber grips. Features round barrel, six shot, fluted cylinder, double action, clean bore and action, blue finish. CONDITION: 25% original Colt factory blue finish while the balance is grey patina. Grips are very good with few minor chips along bottom. Strong bore and works correctly both single and double action. Good example that may clean nicer of a possible Spanish-American War used weapon. (C) Smith & Wesson U.S. Navy Victory Model double action revolver. Features war-time phosphate finish, six shot, double action, fluted cylinder, case color hammer and trigger, smooth walnut grips, and lanyard ring. Top of frame is stamped "US NAVY". These revolvers were made for the Navy during the second World War. CONDITION: Light overall edge wear but still retains approximately 95% of the original factory war-time finish. Fine bore and working action that could use a touch of tuning (we replaced a broken inner part but the action needs tuning). All three revolvers have matching numbers.
