The work illustrates the wars that took place in Italy between 1521 and 1530, focusing in particular on the events of Francesco Sforza (1492-1535). A map of the Duchy of Milan was later inserted in this copy. 4to (204 x 151mm). Printer's device on title and at the end, woodcut initials (occasional spotting and light staining, marginal restoration at *4). 18th-century vellum with title on spine label (modern endpapers, light stains), preserved in an elegant modern case.
