bears old attribution in black chalk, lower left: C. Maratte and bears brown ink numbering, verso: N43
350 by 235 mm; 13⅝ by 9¼ in

Condition Report:
Hinge mounted to a modern cream mount. There is some very minor evidence of surface dirt to the sheet and a small nick to the upper half of the left edge. There is some minor staining to the extremities as a result of the brown ink framing lines and some red chalk offset to the verso. The drawing remains in otherwise extremely good condition with the chalk media fresh and vibrant throughout and the image strong. Sold unframed.
