CARLO ORLANDI MILAN ITALY Table lamp in 800/1000 sterling silver, with a baluster-shaped shaft and a bulging body adorned with deep twisted ribs, resting on a circular, fluted pedestal. Polished and partially burnished silver with a beautiful patina featuring iridescent highlights. Italian hallmarks “800” and “? 341 MI,” attributed to the Milanese silversmith Carlo Orlandi; inscription “ARGENTO MASSICCIO Lavorato a Mano” beneath the base. Original label from Gioielleria Argenteria Fontana, Sesto Calende. Made in Italy, circa 1968–1970. Dimensions: Total height with lampshade: 75 cm / Net weight of silver: 1,107 g With pleated fabric lampshade. Good overall condition; patina and signs of wear consistent with its age.
