The inverted bell top with bold cornice over a pair of side handles, shaped glazed side apertures and a stepped moulded base on block feet, the 22cms arched brass dial with strike/silent subsidiary above a Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre, mock pendulum aperture and chamfered date aperture, the substantial triple chain fusee movement with verge escapement and rack strike on a single bell for the hours, sounding each quarter on a run of eight bells and hammers, the backplate decorated with a series of interlaced foliate scrolls surrounding the signature.
