CARVED AFRICAN WOOD ITEMS, 2ND HALF 20TH C. Comprising two standing female figures in traditional dress, both set on museum mounts, the tallest height 35 inches, the shorter 27 inches. Together with a pair of wood staffs, the first example shorter and with carved figure of elephant atop various tribal motifs, the top terminating in an open handle, length 33.5 inches, and the second example longer, the top half of shaft with carved female figure, length 53 inches, and a carved wood link chain terminating in carved wood seated figures.
