CARVED AND DAPPLE GREY PAINT-DECORATED PINE CHILD'S PULL-TOY, LIKELY NEW ENGLAND, LATE 19TH CENTURY

with leather, brass, and cotton accessories.
Height 19 ½ in. by Length 18 in. by Depth 6 ¾ in.

Condition Report:
In overall fine condition. Wear and discoloration commensurate with age and use. Traces of craquelure throughout with some minor areas of loss to the paint and leather with minor chips to the edges. The wheels are lacking, but appear to have been lost for some time. Wear to the ears, with more losses to the proper left ear. There is an old horizontal age crack to the proper right side of the torso. The front legs may have been previously detached, then reglued and nailed but seemingly an old repair.
