CASED AIR GUN WALKING STICK.
English mahogany cased unmarked brass and steel mounted two piece walking stick. Brass and steel mounted 8.5mm 18" multi-groove rifled bore. The two pieces assembled are 36" overall. There is a small blade front sight and a fixed rear notch sight on the lower rifle section which also has fitted brass protective caps. Top section has air reservoir which is charged with the 14" hand pump for charging cane. Casing also contains a ball mold, a few loose balls and two tools. CONDITION: appears complete, though function unknown as not sure about how good the air chamber seals would be, good bore. Pump works well. Casing is sound with vacant round plaque in lid. Green baize lining is soiled with tears, missing label inside top lid. Handle has mellow smooth patina with old glued repair. (02-27380/JS). NON-GUN. $800-1,200.
