Mid-19th c. 30-Hour Ship's Chronometer by Richard Hornby, Liverpool, No. 934, in a brass bound mahogany case with key and flush side handles, silvered dial with Roman numerals, with up/down indicator and secondary seconds dial, 7" high, 6 7/8" x 7". Missing original case top, corrosion to one side handle. Provenance: From a waterfront estate, Southport Island, ME.
