Cassina cab chair, design by Mario Bellini. Chair upholstery is made up of cowhide. The upholstery is sewn and hand-fitted to the chair frame and closed with a zipper. Underside is marked ÇASSINA. Wear is consistent with age and use, wear to edges. Measures approx 32 inches h, 22.5 inches w, 19 inches deep. Liquid markings present on leather. Mario Bellini is an architect and designer internationally renowned. He received the Golden Compass Award eight times and 25 of his works are in the permanent design collection of the New York MoMA, which dedicated to him a personal retrospective in 1987.He was editor of Domus magazine (1985-1991).
