CAST BRONZE FIGURAL GAS CIGAR LIGHTER FOR "PUNCH" CIGARS

A wonderful example of an early bronze casting full figure of the Punch Clown, which was used to advertise Punch Cigars at the turn of the century. This particular example would hook up to a gas line and would sit on a desk, providing a consistent light from the cigar in Punch's mouth. CONDITION: The lighter shows aged patina to the casting, with areas of dark oxidation, as well as polished bronze from handling. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs.
