CAST-IRON AND WROUGHT-IRON HEARTH KETTLE TIPPER / TILTER WITH KETTLE, wrought-iron tipper with a slightly tapered scroll handle having mushroom-form extension, double kettle-handle hook with a pivoting securing tab, cross bar fitted with a pivoting hanging ring hook; cast-iron kettle with bail handle, sheet-iron cover, and later black paint. 19th century. Tipper 19" HOA, 15 1/2" L; kettle 7 1/2" HOA.
Very good overall condition, tipper with moderate pitting and light rust. Kettle cover probably a replacement.
