Condition A / A-: slight creasing along faint vertical fold; mounted on Chartex.
Burton, born in Derbyshire, designed 23 posters for London Underground, in a similar Art Deco, graphic style to that of Cosomati (see previous lot). His geometric and colorful posters for the Underground promote the Derby, motor and horse shows, the British Industries Fair, and various sporting events.
