This work will be included in Adrienne Baxter Bell’s forthcoming critical study and catalogue of the works of Charles Caryl Coleman.

Condition Report:
The canvas is strip-lined and the edges are trimmed. There is frame abrasion at edges with some associated areas of loss and fine surface cracking throughout. There is a thin, 5-inch vertical patch on the reverse extending from center bottom edge. Under UV: the work retains an uneven varnish. There is inpainting to frame abrasion, a thin 2-inch vertical line near the lower left edge and a few other scattered pindots.
