CHARLES DALY BC MIROKU 12 GA O/U SHOTGUN
SERIAL NUMBER: S613408. BARREL: 32". GAUGE: 12 GA. CHOKE: FULL (TOP), MOD (BOTTOM). CHAMBER: 2 3/4". LOP: 14 1/2". DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 1/2". MANUFACTURED: 1960s. Manufactured in Kochi, Japan during the mid-1960s, the Charles Daly Miroku Field Grade over/under shotgun is a rugged, beautifully engineered workhorse firearm that served as the design precursor to the legendary Browning Citori. This classic 12-gauge shotgun is defined by its deep, rich, traditional dark blued receiver, which features austere minimalist border engravings rather than the flashy silver finishes found on higher-tier models. Built with hand-checkered walnut furniture and a robust boxlock action, the gun utilizes a bottom locking bolt mechanism that delivers incredible longevity and rock-solid lockup. Because it was produced during Miroku's early export era, the barrel flats feature distinct Japanese factory proof stamps, an early stylized floral "mum" trademark logo, and an exact barrel weight stamp of 1.4 kilograms. Engineered exclusively for vintage lead payloads, this well-balanced field gun features non-interchangeable fixed chokes. CONDITION: Very Good. 98%. Slight handling / storage marks on stocks. Bores are bright and smooth. Very light abrasion marks on barrel where forend meets the barrels-very minor. Slight blueing wear near safety selector dur to cycling. Operates normally. C&R 27-78.
