Condition: Mild soiling. Some tearing from the stretcher noted at top where canvas No inpaint detected under black light. Some minor canvas warping towards the left. Paint cracking in some places as well.

Provenance: From the estate of the artist, to Charles H. Carpenter, Jr., author of the "Decorative Arts and Crafts of Nantucket" and by descent in the Carpenter family.
