CHARLES II ENGLISH SILVER PORRINGER, 253g

A large sterling silver porringer from the workshop of Thomas Cooper, London 1669. The sides are chased with typical animal scenes including a turkey and a grouse. It has two cast appliedcaryatid handles. Well marked on the base with a Latin inscription "Ex dono Witt Petyt principalis Exigendary de banco" H.: 9 cm253g of weighable silver
