Rare example of English Restoration embroidery and stumpwork depicting King Charles II and his wife Catherine of Braganza dressed in their royal robes and wearing their crowns. Also depicted are animals and flora, likely derived from contemporary pattern books of the 17th c. In original condition including mirror and frame. England, second half 17th c.
