Condition Report:
Not examined out of the frame. Lined. The work presents well. There is a stable web of faint, fine craquelure, most noticeably in the figure's skin and clothing. Faint frame abrasion along upper edge, with associated tiny pin dot loss at upper center edge. Barely visible pin dot dent also at upper center. Under UV: finely applied inpainting to address craquelure visible in isolated areas throughout. Some reinforcement visible in the darker pigments of the patterning of the drapery in the background.
