CHARPENTIER DRAWING - [Village, Bridge, and Castle]. 19th century. Original drawing (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on vellum. A second pencil drawing on the reverse (unidentified). Provenance: Collection of the Charpentier studio, led by Pierre-Henri (1788–1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806–1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854 onward). 23.3 x 31.5 cm. Condition A/B (a few stains along the edges of the sheet and in the sky).
