The flyleaf of this book contains interesting and elaborate congratulatory inscriptions from students of the Chasam Sofer’s Yeshiva in Pressburg, the book being a gift from ‘Chevra D’Bachurim de’poh kehilla kedosha Pressburg’, to their friend Rabbi Yisrael Geiger on his marriage to the daughter of their great teacher – the Chasam Sofer in 1837.

The inscriptions are from:
1. Rabbi Yehuda Moshe Novomesto – Hamburger; close disciple of the Chasam Sofer, founding member and leader of Kollel Shomrei Hachomos in Jerusalem.
2. Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Koppel Singer (1820-1867), Rabbi of Kerestier (1847) and Losonc (1858).
3. Rabbi Yechiel Michel Rosenblit
