A real 'Christmas cake cooking' nose, full of candied fruit and marzipan. Much drier fruit than the 2005 in the mouth, totally marked by the vintage. Baked fruit and liquorice on the palate, with a finish of black cherries. Not huge length - probably for medium-term drinking. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
