CHAUMET PARIS GOLD MOUNTED AGATE BOWL

An oval agate bowl with highly stylized gold embellishments set with diamonds and rubies, in a brutalist manner, perhaps in the form of a bird. The bowl rest on a oval gold base again withfeather-like decorations and a presentation inscription to Charles G. Bluhdorn. From the Siritzky brothers, French film producers. Bluhdorn was known as the "Mad Austrian of Wall Street" . Base is marked with a French control mark for 18karat gold and Chaumet Paris.

Condition Report: In excellent condition. Overall weight is 615g. The large piece of gold is removable and weighs 103g
