CHICAGO FIRE ALARM CAST IRON FIRE BOX MOUNTED ON FLUTED

An excellent restoration has been done to this Cast Iron Chicago Fire Alarm Call Box. Box shows a full restoration throughout the internals and externals and when the brass handle on the face is turned clockwise a loud alarm bell rings. The interior is in excellent condition as well and displays nicely. The outside of the Alarm Box shows some minor paint wear near the bottom and how's nicely hand painted Cast lettering on the face. Box is mounted on a nicely painted fluted pole that is not original to the Alarm Box but displays the piece nicely. Overall an excellent example of early Cast Iron and an excellent displaying piece. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Restored). Dimensions: 74" X 14" X 12".
