carved gray nephrite with splotch of russet, depicting a boy with his legs drawn up and and face looking back over his shoulder, his hair braided into knots, resting upon a pointed leaf whose veins are incised on the rear of carving, the figure grasps the stem of the leaf which wraps around his body as a flowing scarf and transitions into spiral clouds in the small of his back; weight 107g
