Chinese. A Qing Dynasty style blanc-de-chin porcelain figure of Guanyin supporting a ruyi scepter while seated on a rocky outcrop with crashing waves, an acolyte (child) adjacent to her with head tilted up smiling. Incised charactermark to back (under neck). Approx. h. 16", w. 9.5", d. 5".
