CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PRUNUS GINGER JAR, MARKED

Chinese blue and white prunus ginger jar, of tapering shouldered form with a domed lid, having allover decoration of white prunus branches on a blue ground, the underside having a blue underglaze four character Kangxi style mark.

Approximate dimensions: h. 11.5", dia. 9".
Condition Report: Scattered glaze and manufacturing imperfections, (1) 1" hairline on the inside rim, not visible on exterior of jar; (1) 4.5" curved hairline visible on the inside and outside of the jar.
