CHINESE BLUE & WHITE PORCELAIN POTICHE & COVER - KANGXI. Kangxi period (1661-1722) and of globuler form, the lid painted with figures dancing around rocky outcrops. The base painted with a Court figure and his attendants, and other figures in conversation , painted with other motifs and with metal ring handles to each side. Approx 18.5cms high, lid 21cms diameter. *CR Lid, there are a couple of fine lines to the lid which are possibly fine cracks or scratches to the surface, the underside rim of the lid has various chips and firing crack, two small star cracks visible underneath.
Base, three visible star cracks inside, three chips to the inside of the rim, small indentation/firing crack inside which shows as a small mark on the outside, a few marks and scratches in places.
